World War II Sourcebook takes a new approach for young people to history’s greatest conflict. It uses a series of contemporary documents from all combatant nations in the war, arranged thematically in order to provide an insight into what life was like for people who lived through the war, the information they received, and how people on the home front were encouraged to do their bit for the war effort. The combination of documents and explanatory text provides the reader with a unique understanding of what life was like during the war.
