Spartacus is a big name for a little spider. Especially for a spider that struggles with the most fundamental of tasks-spinning sticky threads strong enough to catch a fly. As Spartacus's silk threads, break and winged insects mock his flimsy nets, his self-esteem plummets. That changes one day when he finds inspiration in some peculiar news of inventive human scientists. Spinning the mightiest web ever spun, Spartacus at last lives up to his name. Moths and bumblebees are finally his, as his super-strands seem capable of ensnaring anything in the air. But are glory and fame worth the potentially grim consequences of such a triumph?
